I'm very happy with my new inflatable kayak! inflating is easy, launching is easy, and carrying it is easy. I will make a strap to attach to the D-rings to make carrying to the beach easier. I love everything about it!

    Advanced Frame Sport Kayak

Posted by Lilian on 2020 Aug 26th

I'm impressed with the design of this kayak. It's easy to set up. It handles well and is very stable. I wanted a smaller boat that I could toss in a smaller river and explore. It tracks well under light conditions. I would not want to paddle across an open lake in a wind. There are thoughtful features like the escape valve in the floor to prevent damage from over-inflation. It would handle Class I rapids easily and Class II with an experienced paddler. Can't add a spray skirt because the cowling is soft. One major factor for me is the portability. I've had it out four times and am very impressed.

We have 2 hard shell 12 ft kayaks that we really like, but found it difficult to go camping with the hard shell kayaks. After reading the reviews online, we decided to buy the Advanced Frame Sport kayaks, and couldn't be more happy! They are comfortable to sit in, easy to get in and out of, and handle just as well as our 12' Pungo's! At 26 pounds, they are easy to lift and carry. The double action pump that we bought with the kayaks fills the kayaks quickly, and the result is a surprisingly firm boat. At first the seat seemed to be inadequate, but once we figured out how to position it properly, it provided just as good support as our folding seats in the hard shell kayaks. There are convenient velcro straps to hold your paddle, and a bungee cord lashing for stashing your goodies on the front deck. I found if you keep a micro fibre cloth in the cockpit, you can keep the floor dry as well as your seat. I can definitely see these becoming our primary kayaks, and the hard shell ones being the "extras" for when we want to bring friends along!

    Advanced inflatable sport

Purchased as a birthday gift for my wife. She loves it. It’s light enough that she can carry to the local river and set up on her own. Very stable and easy to manoeuvre, plenty of room for carry case, pump, small back pack and on deck storage for wheeled carrier. Great kayak, looking forward to lots of time on lakes and rivers.

I devoted a month to researching inflatable kayak. The Advanced Frame Sport when paired with the separate Advanced Elements Back Bone handles 99.9% the same as a solid shell kayak. The convenience of an inflatable kayak that performs as well as a standard kayak is ideal when travelling or when it comes time to store it. Excellent value, quality, and performance at a reasonable price.

    Advanced Frame Sport Inflatable

Posted by Carmen on 2019 Sep 11th

I purchased this about a month ago, and have used it about 6 times-I love it! I am so happy with this kayak, it is super fast to set up (literally 5 minutes), light, and easy to use. It is very comfortable, tracks very well, and has lots of storage inside the kayak itself. If I had one negative, it would be that I wish the bag for carrying it was a little bigger-one has to pack the kayak perfectly and have help to get it back into the bag, I need a helper to hold the bag while I zip it shut. But not a really big deal, as I have to dry it out at the end of a paddle anyway, so just throw it in the back of the SUV out of the bag. Everyone needs one of these!

    Great portable all-around kayak

Posted by Jessie on 2018 Oct 9th

This kayak is so portable that it motivates me to get out on the water more! I've taken it to local waters for a quick evening paddle, and also onto multi-day portage trips. Because I'm short, I'm able to move the seat forward, and fit a large 115-liter portage pack behind the seat in the cargo area, perfect for going camping on an island. I've so far done some class 1 white water, and the kayak was stable and maneuverable enough to handle the rapids. Great all-around kayak: sturdy, stable, tracks well, reasonably fast for an inflatable, portable and light, lots of cargo space. Love it!

    Light sturdy inflatable kayak

Posted by Ralph Lapp on 2018 Sep 8th

This inflatable kayak is sturdily constructed and has high visibility. It has low freeboard and tends to buckle centrally even with my 160 lbs when fully inflated.
