We are searching for a Warehouse Worker to join our team at the retail/manufacturing/distribution center in Abbotsford BC. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize accuracy, attention to detail, and above all else, a desire to deliver world class customer service assisting clients with loading and unloading of their canoe/kayaks. We require a Warehouse Worker who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task.

Job requirements:

• - Outgoing personality
• - Organized
• - Must be able to work Saturdays
• - Must be able to lift 50lbs
• - Able to climb ladders
• - Ability to work independently in high stress situations and problem solve
• - Able to work as part of a team
• - Be adaptable and able to multi task
• - Have a valid drivers license

Job will include:

• - Assisting retail clients w/ loading and unloading product
• - Ensure security of warehouse and surrounding area
• - Assist w/ loading & unloading stock
• - Assist with loading and unloading outgoing trailers ie: deliveries, shows, demos, rental orders
• - Ensure secure packaging of outgoing watercraft
• - Good attention to detail ie: checking orders on outgoing craft w/ actual product
• - Review/check incoming boat stock
• - Unload raw materials and move to storage
• - Assist with completing monthly inventories as requested
• - Maintain safe/clean environment keeping workstations neat, and boat storage areas tidy
• - Ensure boat storage is adequate to store boats safely
• - Recycling duties – delivering to local recycle locations
• - Assist with maintaining company vehicles/trailers; ensuring preventative maintenance is completed.
• - Some grounds maintenance
• - Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Current forklift certification a plus
• - Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
