C-Tug Kayak and Canoe cart
I recently purchased one of these carts for use on the Bowron Lakes circuit in central BC. I performed very well. The saddle worked great and kept my kayak firmly in place on the portages. The wheels were trouble free and handled the rocky sections of the portages with ease. I had one concern related to the kick stand that broke off when I was travelling along one portage. I contacted Western Canoeing and Kayaking and they supplied a new replacement free of charge. The new stand is slightly shorter and less likely to get jammed and break off. The broken stand was only a minor inconvenience as I discovered you can balance the cart without the stand and load your canoe or kayak without the stand. I did not disassemble this cart while paddling, it fit nicely on my kayak bow hatch and was not in the way.
