Our motor mounts, by Colonial Castings are suited for 1- to 2.5-hp motors. These motor mounts clamp quickly and easily onto the gunnels behind the stern seat and provide an easy-access mount location for the small electric motor.

We have now had this motor mount for 3 summers and it is far superior to the two previous motor mounts we used. We use it with our Mad River Explorer on day trips on larger lakes when we want to extend our range by paddling one way out and then using our electric motor for the return. Thus being able to easily attach and remove the mount without tools is a must. This mount is exactly what we had been looking for and is rock solid when attached. - 5 Stars
