    Works 100%. Installed in a Pelican Kayak. I am a former white water kayaker so I assumed the footbrace was made of metal. It is some sort of composite material. For the Pelican it is OK. I would prefer a metal one if I had planed to use it in white water. One good thing about it is that is will not rust. A bonus.
