Clipper Canoes - Fiberglasser/Laminator

We are looking for candidates with some previous composites experience. Must have experience of working in a fibreglass or industrial fabrication environment. Must be a team player, and willing to learn and take direction. Starting wage will be based on experience. All necessary PPE will be provided.

Job requirements:

• - Knowledge of composite laminations – fiberglass, Kevlar is an asset
• - Knowledge in working with: basalt, carbon, and or innegra is an asset but not necessary
• - Ability to work independently and problem solve
• - Able to work as part of a team
• - Be adaptable and able to multi task

Other requirements:

• - Have reliable transportation to work
• - Be punctual
• - Be tidy and clean up after yourself
• - Be willing to learn new skills
• - Be organized and paying attention to detail

Job will include:

• - Waxing molds
• - Cutting material
• - Hand laminating product

Remuneration: $24 - $28 per hour based on experience
