With its beefy blade, the Manta Ray Carbon is a great choice for high-angle paddlers, those looking for more power, bigger boats, and moving water. At just 29.5 ounces, the Manta Ray Carbon is the lightest high-angle injection molded paddle available, and its stiff, durable abX blades will help you move some serious water. All this power is balanced out with an ovalized, 100% carbon composite shaft, which means less fatigue and joint strain. The Manta Ray Carbon has two ferrule options.This paddle offers the Posi-Lok® ferrule system which clicks into position firmly and securely. The Posi-Lok® features strong, corrosion-free composite construction, convenient dual-button release, and infinite feathering angles. Licensed Ferrule US Patent No. 6,881,111. The Manta Ray Carbon is available in lengths from 210cm to 250cm in increments of 10cm. Like all Aqua-Bound paddles, the Lyric is hand-built in Osceola, Wisconsin, USA.

We build strong paddles and have one of the lowest breakage rates in the industry, but we know the unthinkable can happen. When it does, we honor all reasonable requests for repair or replacement. For repairs not covered under warranty and for paddles that can be fixed, we are pleased to repair for a modest fee. Aqua-Bound paddles are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two years from date of purchase. Please contact us at Western Canoeing and Kayaking if you feel that you may need to make a warranty claim.

Ultralight Paddel
We recently ordered several Aqua Bound paddles, the Manta Ray for myself and the Sting Ray in all three editions just to find out which would suit me, my wife and daughter best. They are all great paddles! The Posi-Lock is excellent! I found 75 degree offset my favorite angle. I like everything about these paddles. Even the drip rings work better than the expensive ones I was using before. A sharp edge on the rubber seems to help. Coming from whitewater paddling I like the wider blade on the Manta Ray. Also I did not expect to get free shipping for the box of four paddles! Great deal and service and fast shipping too! Thanks to the folks at Western Canoeing!
