Sting Ray Carbon 2pc with Posi-Lok Ferrule Description
The Sting Ray Carbon has mid-sized blades (87 sq. inches) made of abX resin reinforced with carbon fibers. Couple that with its all-carbon shaft, and this paddle weighs in at just 28.75 ounces. This gives the Sting Ray Carbon a low swing weight and makes for a more comfortable journey.
The Sting Ray Carbon has two ferrule options. This paddle offers the Posi-Lok® ferrule system which clicks into position firmly and securely. The Posi-Lok® features strong, corrosion-free composite construction, convenient dual-button release, and infinite feathering angles. Licensed Ferrule US Patent No. 6,881,111. The Sting Ray Carbon is available in lengths from 210cm to 250cm in increments of 10cm. It comes in both 2-piece and 4-piece models.
This paddle can also be special ordered in a smaller diameter shaft in 2-piece models, please call for more information.

For repairs not covered under warranty and for paddles that can be fixed, we are pleased to repair for a modest fee. Aqua-Bound paddles are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two years from date of purchase. Good buy
I paddle on lake Ontario around the Toronto islands (up to 4 hours). This paddle works great for me. It is light weight, sturdy, relaible, nothing has gone wrong. There are no bad things to say about it. I have not used more expensive Werner paddles so I cannot compare. However, since this paddle is so good, i don't see a point of spending more (given how i use it). I would buy it again.
