WCK Demo Days
Come join us for our kayak and canoe demo days! If you just can't seem to decide between a couple of boats, come out and give them a try. If you have no idea what kind of boat you would like to try, please try to come into the store and have one of our experienced sales staff assist with your decision. If you can't make it into the store, give us a call or email so we can help you narrow it down to two models to test paddle.
Many of our popular canoes and kayaks can be test paddled at Mill Lake in Abbotsford. We currently do not offer demos for models that retail under $1000 or for most inflatable kayaks. Blackwater Tribute and Stergeon series, Advanced Elements AirVolution series; and Wilderness Systems iATAK are available for demo. Please sign up in advance using the form below to ensure we have your desired boat(s) available for demo and at the lake. After submitting the form, a WCK staff member will reach out to confirm your selection and demo details.
At this time we are not offering stand-up paddleboard's or whitewater kayaks at our demo days.
If none of our scheduled demo day's work for you, there are other options to test paddle a boat:
- If available, customers can schedule a 1-hour private demo. WCK will provide transportation for two boats and a staff member to accompany you to the lake. A $150 fee applies. $75 of that fee is transferable to the purchase of a new boat within 30 days. Not to be combined with sale pricing. Demos do need to be booked in advance to ensure staff and boat availability.
**All demo's must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance. No-shows may be refused booking for future demos.**
