NRS's Riptide Jacket is designed for paddlers seeking more reasons to play. Whether surfing, rock-hopping, or enjoying the open water with the hood up or the neck unzipped, this jacket offers quick-adapting protection. It’s made with lightweight Hyprotex 2.5™ material and factory-taped seams, ensuring breathable, waterproof coverage.
The articulated hood has three adjustable points, allowing for a custom fit with two bungee cinches at the neck and one at the back of the hood. A flexible bill shields the face from water drips. The jacket features a half-zip collar and an interior adjustable urethane neck closure, providing double protection against rain and wind while enabling ventilation on calmer days.
With the Paddler's Cut™ design, the jacket encourages proper torso rotation and offers room for layering. Punch-through neoprene wrist gaskets ensure comfort throughout the day while keeping most water out. A coated nylon inner tunnel pairs with a sprayskirt to keep the cockpit dry, while double-pull, hook-and-loop neoprene waist cinches offer a custom fit.
Prominent reflective accents enhance visibility, improving safety in open waters. Two splashproof, zippered sleeve pockets are included for carrying small essentials.
