Blackwater Ratchet tie downs
I first saw these tire downs when a friend used them for his sea kayak. I like their quick tension stytem and so bought some for myself. They have proved easy to use and mostly effective but tend to need re-tensioning while driving on highways or Gravel roads. Not quite as efficient as tying a rope to each side of your bumper but quick and easy for shorter drives.
