The listed weight limit refers to the static load capacity—the maximum weight the cart can hold while stationary. Please note that the dynamic load capacity (weight while moving) is significantly lower than the static capacity.
For safe transport on rough terrain, it is strongly recommended to unload additional gear from the canoe or kayak and carry it separately to reduce stress and potential damage to the cart. Using the cart beyond these guidelines may result in damage to the product.

Great so far
Ordering from Western Canoe/Kayak was a breeze & the C-Tug showed up in no time! Pretty simple to put together, the only tricky part were the tie down straps. Overall though I've used this a handful of times & has been great on pavement, hard packed trails & stony beaches. It didn't enjoy a soft sandy beach though. Comes apart very quickly & can easily be stowed in one of my kayak hatches no problem. Seems to be made really well. One thing to pay attention to is getting sand in the axles. Which reminds me I should clean it before storing for the winter.

works really well
We used this to move a 90 pound tandem kayak and about 100 pounds of gear on and off ferries and on some beaches. It worked well and exceeded my expectations. A bit heavy, but that is forgiven as it handled the load well. Wheels will squeak without some lubrication on axles, Vaseline works.

Works really well
Works as intended but sand gets into the wheels so watch out.

C-Tug with puncture free wheel
The cart was easy to put together and use. Worked exactly as advertised. I found it much easier to put my kayak on and strap it down than my others carts. Definitely the one I would recommend purchasing.

I would highly recommend this product for easy of putting together and ease of use. I have used this product over mixed terrain and with 10 ft & 15 ft kayaks. P.S. I am a senior.
