Overview
The new Caribou ‘S’ is a classically designed solo canoe with attractive traditional lines. Paddlers will find it well suited for a wide range of paddling conditions, as it is at home on a quiet lake or would be ideal for extended wilderness river trips.
Designed by noted Alberta paddler Lloyd Beaule, the Caribou 'S' is one of our favourite river/expedition solo canoes.
The modest 2” rocker allows easy tracking, but it will still handle well in the rock gardens. The full ends make the Caribou ‘S’ the highest volume solo canoe available from CLIPPER, and the sophisticated, high performance composite layups are durable, efficient, and ready to provide you with years of paddling enjoyment.
