The Storm Hood by NRS is a full-coverage neoprene hood that fits snug to keep water out and warmth in. The 2.5 mm neoprene provides excellent insulation against cold water and wind. Liquid sealant waterproofs the seams, and it is lined with quick-drying Checked VaporLoft for extra comfort and warmth. The sturdy, flexible bill shades your eyes from the sun and helps keep water from dripping into your eyes. A long collar extends down past the base of your neck to fit over the neck gasket on your dry top or drysuit, and the barrel-lock drawcord around the face opening lets you customize a snug, watertight fit perfect for mid-winter rolls.

Snug but comfy fit. Love the peaked feature. Great coverage. Having had two brain surgeries in the last three months, this is going to give me some piece of mind when I get back on the water. Certainly going to keep my head warm on those wet ocean days!

Cozy way to practice rolling a kayak
