Designed for both rugged performance and practical convenience, the 13’ Scout Kayak from HO Sports (formerly known as the Scout 1 iKayak) is an ideal inflatable kayak for day trips or extended adventures. Its lightweight construction is paired with a host of functional features and accessories to enhance your time on the water, and being an inflatable it will still fit in the trunk of even a compact car.
Reinforced ArmorShark side bladders provide added durability and structural rigidity, while the Ultra-Reinforced Bow and Stern increase the kayak's longevity—even in demanding conditions. The waterproof outer Skin resists water absorption and promotes faster drying.
Being fully inflatable, the Scout is compact for easy storage and transport. It includes three separate inflation chambers for quick setup and breakdown, and the RIGID Drop-Stitch floor ensures a solid, non-flexing base unlike many other inflatables.
Storage is plentiful with two bungee zones and an open-top design, offering plenty of space for gear. Included with the Scout are a two-piece adjustable Atlas paddle, a high-back ergonomic seat with a built-in storage pocket and rod holders, a hand pump, and a backpack for convenient carrying.

Scout 1 Solo Package
We received both our Scout 1 packages with free shipping to Alberta (awesome). We inflated one of the kayaks in our family room to see how this process went. It was a breeze to inflate. It is now winter in Alberta so we have stored both kayak packages away until the springtime. once we have ad a chance to experience them on the water, we will review again. Looking forward to it with great anticipation! Thank you so far WCK !!!

Perfect transportable kayak
The Scout 1 inflatable kayak is perfect for me to take on lakes to puddle about and paddle along the shore line. It’s stable and I can even stand up paddle with it. The chair is comfy too. The main reason I bought this was to carry it easily in my back seat as my pick up camper cannot hold my ocean going kayak. I’d like another so I can bring a friend along too.
