The YakAttack RotoGrip Phone Holder Pro is the phone holder one would expect from YakAttack, offering a revolutionary design unlike anything else on the market. Featuring the popular RotoGrip technology, it allows for quick, one-handed operation. The holder includes two adjustable rubber wheels that securely hold most modern smartphones, with width settings that can be easily adjusted. It accommodates smartphones ranging from 2.75” to 3.625” in width and 0.303” to 0.625” in thickness.
This version of the RotoGrip Phone Holder also includes a Universal Smartphone Harness and Tether, a track-mounted 1” Screwball, and a 2.5” long Ball Connector. The Screwball is compatible with all YakAttack GearTrac, MightyMounts, and most other factory-installed kayak track systems.
The phone holder features a 1” ball system, allowing for easy articulation and adjustment to achieve a wide variety of positions. The 1” ball mount on the back of the holder also adjusts the width of the frame and retention wheels. By pulling against the ball, the spring-loaded gear is released, enabling clockwise or counter-clockwise twisting to adjust the width to fit the phone. Once the arms are adjusted, the phone is securely held in place, with one-handed operation allowing the phone to roll firmly into position.
The included Universal Smartphone Harness and Tether features a flexible, grippy silicone interface that accommodates devices with or without a case, ensuring a snug fit. The harness also includes a coiled, coated steel tether (9” coiled, 48” fully stretched) with a locking carabiner. The carabiner attaches to the tether point on the phone holder’s frame, providing extra security and peace of mind. The harness is designed for easy phone access without interfering with the camera lens.
The YakAttack RotoGrip Phone Holder is crafted from UV-resistant, high-quality, injection-molded polymers and assembled with stainless steel hardware, making it durable enough to withstand years of use in harsh outdoor and marine environments.
