Every Wenonah canoe has enough built-in flotation to keep it afloat if filled with water. However, if swamped in whitewater, a canoe must do more than just float...it must float high to avoid submerged rocks. We strongly recommend supplemental flotation bags in whitewater of Class II or above. Constructed of nylon and PVC.

    Air Bladder/Float Bag

Posted by Larry on 2021 Apr 27th

The black hose used to fill the bladder has poor connection both at the elbow and valve interfaces. Really does need to be more robust considering this is a safety component that would see potentially harsh conditions, like the whitewater environment.

    Cheap construction

Posted by Samuel Robert on 2020 Sep 18th

My friend and me both ordered this center float bag. His came without the inflating straw, mine lost its inflating straw the first time i flipped in whitewater. The construction of the bag itself looks OK, but the inflating system is poorly fixed. Ask for aquaseal or something with this bag to reseal (or seal at all) the inflating system.
