Raised in Maple Ridge, BC, the individual discovered a love for the outdoors early in life. They were introduced to river life in 2021 through Thompson Rivers University's Adventure Studies program, quickly developing a passion for whitewater kayaking. They've kayaked across BC, explored rivers in California, Oregon, and spent two months in Ecuador. Their time is divided between raft guiding in summer and studying for a Bachelor of Tourism Management at TRU in Kamloops. Favorite kayaking spots include the Pipeline section of the Fraser River, the Capilano in Vancouver, and Ecuador's Quijos River.
